Maintenance & data management challenges
Before implementing Ultimo's EAM, NewCold encountered multiple challenges, including:

Operational efficiency & self-sufficiency: Ultimo has streamlined NewCold’s engineering operations by enabling seamless access to data sheets, usage logs, and part locations, ensuring technicians can work independently and effectively.
Cost savings through asset visibility: By gaining real-time insight into spare parts inventory, NewCold avoided unnecessary purchases, resulting in a £95,000 cost saving of not ordering spare parts.
Maintenance automation: The Ultimo system supports standard operating procedures, tracking and reporting, enabling the maintenance department to run more autonomously.
