Single tenant with shared services

One of the key advantages of Ultimo EAM is that it is single-tenant for data but shares some services multi-tenant.

Single-tenant solutions, as the name suggests, provide each customer with their own dedicated environment. This means that customer data is isolated from other customers and is not shared with any other organization. This provides customers with a high level of security and privacy, as well as full control over their data.

On the other hand, multi-tenant solutions allow multiple customers to share the same environment and resources. This can result in cost savings, as the resources are shared, and the costs are spread out among multiple customers.

Ultimo EAM offers customers the best of both worlds. The solution is single-tenant for data, providing customers with a high level of security and privacy, while also allowing for cost savings and improved efficiency through shared services.

Continuous Delivery

Ultimo is delivered using continuous delivery. This means that a least once a week all customer environments are automatically updated to the latest version of the software with near to zero downtime. The main advantages are:

  1. Faster Time-to-Market: Continuous Delivery enables Ultimo to deliver software changes faster than traditional methods. New features and updates are regularly released. This faster time-to-market can give organizations a competitive edge by allowing them to stay ahead of their competitors.
  2. Improved Quality: Continuous Delivery ensures the software changes are tested and verified automatically. This automated testing reduces the risk of human error and ensures that the software changes are of high quality.
  3. Enhanced Security: Continuous Delivery ensures that software changes are deployed securely. This reduces the risk of security breaches and ensures the system remains secure and compliant.
  4. Cost-Effective: Continuous Delivery reduces the cost of software development and deployment. With traditional methods, software changes can take weeks or months to be deployed. With Continuous Delivery, software changes can be deployed with near to zero downtime. This reduces the cost of software development and deployment, allowing organizations to allocate resources to other areas of the business.

Azure

Ultimo’s EAM is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Ultimo choose Azure because of Scalability, High availability, Security and integration with other Microsoft services.

Scalability – Azure is available around the globe. We already use Azure datacenters in West Europe, Germany and North America.

High availability – Azure has built-in high availability and disaster recovery features that ensure the Ultimo EAM system stays up and running, even in the event of a disaster. Azure’s global network is used to replicate Ultimo instances to other regions for disaster recovery purposes.

Security and compliance – Azure is one of the most secure cloud platforms available, with a range of built-in security features that help protect your data and your Ultimo EAM system from cyber threats.

Integration with other Microsoft Services – Running Ultimo on Azure makes it possible that PowerBI is integrated into the Ultimo application. Also, integration with Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 is available.

All these advantages make Ultimo EAM a highly attractive option for businesses looking for a cloud-based EAM solution.
